Passionate about bridging research and practice, I am currently pursuing my PhD study in linguistics with full scholarship. Previously I completed an MSc programme in Strategic Human Resources Management with Distinction at Hong Kong Baptist University, and obtained an MA in Translation Studies at University of Birmingham on a scholarship. Prior to them, I graduated with a BA in Translation & Linguistics at University of Hong Kong.

 

A seasoned educational publisher with 20+ years of experience, I worked with internationally renowned publishers, including Cambridge University Press, HarperCollins, Macmillan Education, Cengage Learning, Commercial Press (HK), and Popular Group (HK). I was also the representative to attend world-renowned book fairs across the globe, including the ones at Frankfurt, London, Bologna, Beijing, etc. to negotiate business deals and to keep myself abreast of the latest publishing trend. I am now part-time Research Associate at Childhood Bilingualism Research Centre at Chinese University of Hong Kong, working on multiple research projects on language development.
